The latest addition to the Rå stable is a 165mm rear, 170-200mm front Enduro bike built to take the hits and call the shots. Mullet and triple clamp fork compatible with an adjustable leverage ratio, it offers a highly tunable platform ready for everything from all-day bike park laps to the rigours of racing or just playtime in the woods. After three years in development with six prototypes and multiple refinements over many iterations, it is now ready for the wild.
At its heart, the .12 frame features the same suspension platform as the .20 but with a longer shock and retuned kinematics optimized for the longer 165mm of rear wheel travel on offer. The .12 also includes the four-position flip chip from the .20 to adjust the leverage ratio, giving a 10% change in progression independent of the geometry, allowing you to dial in the feel to perfectly match your riding style and terrain.
The frame also has a flip chip to allow for the use of a 27.5 rear wheel for a mullet setup. This chip retains the BB height, head angle, and suspension characteristics between the 29 and 27.5 rear wheels.
Modular dropouts give 20mm of chainstay length adjustment while maintaining UDH compatibility and futureproofing for any new rear wheel standards that come along.
The main pivot uses angular contact 41mm stainless bearings with a preloaded compression collet arrangement, which eliminates all potential play from the system. An additional seal before the bearings means ultra-low maintenance. When servicing is required, main pivot hardware is all accessible from the non-drive side so the cranks can stay on. Less time working on the bike, more time riding!
Replaceable ISCG tabs on a splined mount give rotational adjustment to easily set your chainguide at the perfect angle regardless of brand.
The frame also uses a 34.9mm seat post optimized for long-travel dropper posts, and all our MTB frames use a polyester seat tube liner to prevent corrosion between the steel frame and aluminum seat posts.
Space for long travel dropper posts was a high prioty and there is plenty of insertion on all sizes.
For internally routed cables, all our frames use Nylon guide tubes bonded into stainless ports to keep the weather out and the cables rattle-free and easy to install.
